TOWSON, Md. – The Towson University soccer team hosted the Maryland Terrapins on Thursday night in a battle of in-state foes. The Tigers (2-2-3) drew the Terrapins (2-2-3) 1-1 after
Sophie Thibeault scored her fourth goal of the season on a
Brooke Birrell cross in the 48th minute.
In the first half, Maryland found the back of the net in the 22nd minute to take an early lead. Early in the second half,
Sophie Thibeault evened the score at one on a
Brooke Birrell cross. The teams continued to battle back-and-forth, but the match ended in a 1-1 draw.
