TOWSON, Md. – The Towson University women's basketball team faced Loyola on Thursday morning in the team's annual STEM Day game.
Towson (4-5) used strong three-point shooting in the first half to take a 33-27 lead over Loyola (2-7). The Greyhounds erased the deficit late in the fourth quarter, sending the game to overtime tied at 54 apiece. The Tigers hit two threes to open the overtime period, before six unanswered Greyhound points tied the game.
Zoli Khalil missed a shot as time expired to give Loyola a 64-63 victory.
