Second Half Surge Leads Towson Men’s Basketball Past Stony Brook to Win Ninth Straight

STONY BROOK, N.Y. – The Towson University men's basketball team took on the Stony Brook Seawolves in Stony Brook Arena on Thursday night. The Tigers (15-9, 10-1 CAA) defeated the Seawolves (5-19, 1-10 CAA) 66-59 to tie Towson's best start in conference play in program history.
 
Dylan Williamson led the Tigers with 17 points, knocking down three triples and grabbing four rebounds. Nendah Tarke had 16 points and five rebounds off the bench tonight.

  • The Tigers had 20 points off 16 Stony Brook turnovers.
  • Towson held Stony Brook to 14.3% from behind the arc, the third lowest total this season for the Seawolves.

  • The Tigers opened the game with an 8-2 run, getting triples from Dylan Williamson and Christian May.
