WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Towson University women's basketball team faced Campbell in the quarterfinal round of the Credit Union 1 CAA Women's Basketball Championship at CareFirst Arena in Washington, D.C.
In a tight first half, the Tigers (12-20) erased a six-point deficit to tie the game at 25 with 2:23 left in the first half. An 8-0 Campbell (20-11) run into the break gave them a lead at the half which they did not surrender. Another run in the third quarter separated the Camels who went on to win 73-54.

- Aminata Diakite got started with a made three on the opening possession of the game for the Tigers.

- Anasia Staton hit Towson's next two baskets, with her jumper at 4:31 cutting it to an 11-9 game.
- Both teams scored five points in the closing minutes of the quarter for a 16-14 lead for the Camels after one.
- Campbell pushed its lead to as many as six with 4:20 remaining in the first half. Buckets from Khady Leye, Staton and Kayla Morris erased that lead with 2:23 to go.
- An 8-0 Camels run in the final minutes gave them the lead at the halftime break.
