Towson, Md. - The Towson University tennis team is set for two CAA matchups this week. The Tigers will travel to Charleston, South Carolina on Wednesday to face College of Charleston at 1:30PM before heading north to Wilmington, North Carolina on Saturday to take on UNCW at 11AM.

College of Charleston Scouting Report
Charleston enters with a 6-6 record and a 0-1 mark in conference play. The Cougars opened the season with a 5-2 loss to Wofford but bounced back with a 4-3 win over Mercer. Charleston then fell to Georgia Southern (6-1) before securing a 6-1 victory against Presbyterian. After a 5-2 loss to Coastal Carolina, Charleston swept Bethune-Cookman, 6-0. In their CAA opener, the Cougars dropped a close match to Campbell (4-3). Charleston responded with back-to-back 4-3 wins over Miami (OH) and Samford before suffering two losses to Gardner-Webb (5-2) and VCU (4-2). The Cougars won their most recent match against Belmont, 7-0.
UNCW Scouting Report
UNCW brings in a 2-5 record and a 0-1 mark in conference play. The Seahawks opened their season with a conference match loss to William & Mary, 6-1. UNCW responded with a win over Presbyterian, 5-2. The Seahawks lost their next three matches to #4 North Carolina (7-0), Coastal Carolina (5-2) and Florida Southern (4-3). UNCW broke its losing streak, picking up a win against Saint Francis (7-0). In their most recent match, the Seahawks fell 4-2 to UNCA.
Next Match
The Tigers are on the road next week for another CAA matchup against Monmouth in West Long Branch, N.J. on Tuesday, Mar. 22 at 11AM. The next day, the team will travel to Fairfax, Va. to face off against George Mason at 3PM.
