Charleston, S.C. - The Towson University tennis team traveled to Charleston, S.C. to face off against College of Charleston Wednesday in the team's second CAA match of the season. The Tigers fell to the Cougars 7-0.
Charleston secured the doubles point. At No. 1 doubles,
Kiersten Tambe and Chandré Boshoff battled hard but fell 7-6 (7-3). In singles play,
Gaia Montecchi fought at No. 3 but dropped 5-7, 6-4, 8-10. The Cougars continued to sweep in singles to clinch the match.
"Today was a pretty big disappointment", said head coach
