BROOKLINE, Mass. – The Towson University baseball team continued Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) play vs. Northeastern in the second of three games on Saturday afternoon at Friedman Diamond in Brookline, Massachusetts.
After three scoreless innings to begin the game, the Huskies (13-8, 1-1 CAA) tacked on three runs in the fourth to break the tie.
Brett Ahalt's leadoff single in the sixth was the Tigers' (8-16, 1-1 CAA) lone hit of the day and didn't produce a run in the frame. The Huskies added one in the fifth, five in the sixth and one in the seventh to top the Tigers in seven innings.

- Towson starter Max Simpson (1-5) took the loss with four earned runs allowed on seven hits in 4.2 innings pitched. Simpson struck out three batters.
- Northeastern starter Aiven Cabral (2-2) got the win after tossing seven shutout frames with one hit allowed. Cabral struck out six.
How it Happened
- After three scoreless innings to begin the game, Northeastern's Feinberg hit a three-run home run to the right field in the bottom of the fourth to break the tie.
- Mussacchia's ground rule double to right center with a runner on third extended the Huskies' lead to four in the fifth.
- Northeastern plated five runs on five hits in the home half of the sixth, pushing the Tiger deficit to 9-0.
- Lane's single to right center in the bottom of the seventh gave Northeastern a ten-run lead, ending the game.
