PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – The Towson University women's lacrosse team resumed CAA play by traveling up to Philadelphia to take on the #23 Drexel Dragons. Towson (5-5, 1-2 CAA) fell to #23 Dragons (9-2, 4-0 CAA) 12-9 at Vidas Field.
Milana Zizakovic led the Tigers with five points, scoring four goals and tallying an assist.
Gabby Bjugan scored two goals while
Luca DeMaio added a goal and an assist.

- Milana Zizakovic opened the scoring with her 19th goal of the season when she powered through multiple defenders and fired a shot that got past Cuocco.
- The Dragons tied the score 46 seconds later when Bridget Finley scooped up a rebound and fired a shot into the back of the net.
- Zizakovic scored her second goal of the game when she spun past a defender and fired a rocket into the corner to give Towson a 2-1 lead with 3:55 left in the first quarter.
- Ocea Leavy found the back of the net less than two minutes later to give Towson a 3-1 edge.
- Drexel's Teagan Quinn scored with 31 seconds remaining in the first quarter to trail by one.
- Gabby Bjugan responded 23 seconds later to give the Tigers a 4-2 advantage at the end of the first quarter.
- The Dragons opened the second quarter by scoring five goals in a six-minute span to take a 7-4 lead.
- The team went back-and-forth trading possessions until Drexel scored with four seconds left to have an 8-4 advantage heading into halftime.
- Luca DeMaio scored her 14th goal of the season on a tight angle that beat Cuocco at the near post to trail by three with 6:48 left in the third quarter.
- Zizakovic scored her third goal of the day to cut the deficit to two on a low shot that got past Cuocco, but the Dragons scored a minute later to restore a three-goal advantage.
- Savannah Safchuck scored her 17th goal of the year on a one-time shot from DeMaio to trail by two late in the third quarter.
- Kate Quinn scored her fourth and fifth goals of the game to extend Drexel's lead to four midway through the fourth quarter.
- The Dragons pushed their lead to five with 3:42 left in the fourth quarter.
- Zizakovic and Bjugan each added a late goal as the Tigers fell to the Dragons 12-9 on Saturday.
