WEST LONG BRANCH, N.J. – The Towson University women's basketball team visited West Long Branch, N.J. Thursday night to face Monmouth in the penultimate game of the regular season. The Hawks (15-13, 10-7 CAA) held a two-point lead over the Tigers (9-19, 7-10 CAA) after a tightly contested first half before a 47-point second half cemented an 82-56 win at the OceanFirst Bank Center.
Aminata Diakite led the Tigers with 15 points off the bench.
India Johnston finished with 10.
