Towson, Md. - The Towson University tennis team is set for a pair of non-conference matches this week to close out the spring season. On Tuesday, the Tigers travel to Fairfax, Va. to take on George Mason at 3PM. On Thursday, Towson will welcome Morgan State to the Tiger Tennis Complex at 3PM.

George Mason Scouting Report
The Patriots opened their season with back-to-back losses to George Washington and Radford but rebounded with dominant wins over Coppin State and Mary Washington. George Mason then dropped its next four matchups to Navy, Fordham, Western Illinois and SIUE. The Patriots responded with victories over Berry (Ga.) and West Virginia State before falling in four straight matches to Longwood, Rhode Island, Richmond and Duquesne. They bounced back with a win over Saint Louis. The Patriots' most recent matchup resulted in a loss against Saint Joseph's.
Morgan State Scouting Report
The Bears opened their season with five straight losses to West Virginia, St. John's, Maryland, Navy and Virginia Commonwealth. Morgan State bounced back with a dominant win over Mount St. Mary's but fell in its next outing to Wagner. The Bears then secured back-to-back victories against Harford Community College and Johns Hopkins before dropping a match to Saint Leo. After a win over Milwaukee, Morgan State endured a six-match losing streak against Rider, Florida, Delaware State, Norfolk State, South Carolina State and North Carolina Central. They responded with a home win over Coppin State but dropped their most recent match to Hampton.Â
