BOX SCORE Fairfax, Va. - The Towson University tennis team extended its winning streak to four matches with a 4-0 victory over George Mason on Tuesday.
Towson dominantly secured the point in doubles, sweeping all three matches. In singles play,
Olivia Rothfeld,
Gaia Montecchi and
Sania Suchinsky won in straight sets at No. 2, No. 4 and No. 6 for the win.
Gaia Montecchi clinched the match for the Tigers.
"Today was extremely challenging playing in winds gusting 20-30mph," said head coach
Jamie Peterson. "However, the girls thrived by winning all three doubles and three singles matches."
