TOWSON, Md. – The Towson University women's basketball coaching staff has announced two role changes ahead of the 2025-26 season.
Assistant Coach
Eric Atkins has been promoted to Associate Head Coach.
"We are blessed and lucky to have someone of Eric's caliber here at Towson. His support and knowledge of the game is paramount for our success. We look forward to seeing him continue to flourish as an integral part of our staff," added Head Coach
Laura Harper.
Assistant Coach
Lorie Khalil has assumed the responsibilities of General Manager in congruence with her role as an assistant coach.
"Lorie brings over 20 years of managerial, administrative and leadership to Towson women's basketball. With the change in landscape of intercollegiate athletics we are utilizing Lorie's strengths to make our program better. What a luxury to allow Lorie to continue to positively impact our program," said
Coach Harper.
Both
Atkins and
Khalil helped Towson reach the Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) quarterfinal round for the third-straight season this past March. The Tigers finished the season 6-4 over their final ten games played.
