Jaelyn White tallies her first collegiate assist in her first collegiate start as the Towson University women's soccer team wins its first game at George Washington in program history.
Deuces were wild at The Vern as the Tigers won by scoring two goals to bring Towson and George Washington to 2-2-2 on the season. It was the second clean sheet of the season for
Teagan Gardener. Each team got two corner kicks in the second half and the Revolutionaries had two saves in each half.
"It was really awesome to put the team ahead especially coming off the tie against UMBC," Levin said. "We were playing good and connecting, finding options. It felt good to put us up 1-0 to get the momentum going."

How It Happened:
- Towson took the game to George Washington early, already recording a shot before 60 seconds had come off the clock.
- Two more shots would test the keeper including a shot that rattled off the crossbar by Sophie Thibeault before Levin scored.
- Levin netted her first goal of her collegiate career off a header from the cross by White in the 11th minute.
- The Tiger pressure did not relent with four shots in the next 10 minutes of action.
- The second tally came on by way of Sydney Feiler putting the ball into the back of the net from Thibeault redirecting a Kale'a Perry cross.
- Towson entered the half up two scores and fought back an initial push from George Washington to start the second half before settling in again and controlling the game.
Inside the Numbers:
- White got her first collegiate start after playing 76 minutes of scoreless soccer against UMBC on Thursday, joining the backline and tallying her first assist. She has now played 166 minutes in the past two matches without conceding a goal.
- Perry, who was third team All-CAA last season, has already eclipsed her point total in 2024 (seven points, two goals and three assists) with eight points in 2025 by way of two goals and four assists.
- Towson's 14 first half shot attempts are the third most in a half this season. It is the second most in the first half of a game this season, behind UMBC on Sept. 4. It is the second most attempts in a half where the Tigers did not concede a shot behind Mount Saint Mary's on Aug. 16.

Towson will hit the road in a week for a match against Bucknell. The Bisons play on Thursday at home against Georgetown. They are currently 2-4-1 on the season, having just played Pitt to a draw in Pittsburgh. The last time the teams played was in Towson, a match the Tigers won 2-0.
