STONY BROOK, N.Y. – The Towson University women's basketball team faced Stony Brook on Sunday afternoon on the team's second trip to Long Island in two weeks.
Towson (10-7, 3-2 CAA) and Stony Brook (10-9, 5-1 CAA) both struggled offensively in the opening quarter before finding footing in the second. Stony Brook (10-9, 5-1 CAA) maintained its lead in the second half, going on to win 55-43 at Stony Brook Arena.
