TOWSON, Md. – Towson University's Isabella Minervini has been honored as the East Atlantic Gymnastics League (EAGL) Gymnast of the Week, announced by the conference on Wednesday.
 
Minervini earns this year's first EAGL Gymnast of the Week honor and sixth of her Towson career.
 
The senior from Fleming Island, Florida, earned a 39.200 on all-around in Towson's opening meet on Sunday at Clemson, finishing in the top-five in every event and having Towson's top score in all evets, including a 9.850 on bars for a second place finish.  She also had a 9.800 on floor.
