TOWSON, Md. – The Towson University men's and women's swimming and diving teams defeated Georgetown at Burdick Pool on Friday night to each earn their first wins of the season.
The Towson women saw two wins from
Addie Scott in the pool and two wins from
Lara Booth Alam on the diving boards to win 136-107. The Tiger men swept the relays and had five different swimmers win individual events in a 131-112 win.

- Addie Scott picked up where she left off last week by winning the 200 freestyle, 200 back
- Bjartey Gudmundsdottir won the 50 free for the second straight week.
- Masha Netrebko got her first individual win as a Tiger in the 200 fly.
- Kaitlyn Besner got her first win of the season by taking first in the 500 freestyle.
- The women ended the swimming events strong with a win in the 200 free relay by Gudmundsdottir, Emelia Erikson, Ava McKinney and Ryland Zuniga.
- Lara Booth Alam was the top Tiger diver on the night sweeping the boards with wins in the 1 meter and 3 meter dive.
- Marin Ford earned her first top three finish of the season placing third in the 1 meter dive.
