TOWSON, Md. – Towson University women's soccer concludes regular season play against Drexel at Tiger Field on Sunday, Nov. 1 at 1 p.m. A win or draw for Towson secures the outright Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) North Division title and the one-seed for North Division teams in the upcoming CAA Tournament. A loss AND a Hofstra win would drop Towson to the two-seed.

Towson has won four of the past five matches between the two sides, outscoring the Dragons 12-5 in that stretch. This is the second straight year Towson and Drexel conclude the regular season against each other. Last season, Towson closed the season with a 3-0 win in Philadelphia.

The Tigers are coming off a 2-0 win over Monmouth on the road, which secured at least a share of the CAA North Division Title. Meron Koro netted a goal, earning her CAA Rookie of the Week honors.

Drexel played Hofstra to a 0-0 draw in its most recent match. Drexel is unbeaten in its past two matches, both coming against CAA North Division teams who have clinched a postseason berth.

Towson is led by Sophie Thibeault who has a NCAA-leading eight-match goal contribution streak. The senior captain has five goals and seven assists on the season.

Drexel's success starts between the pipes with Gracie Sullivan. The Dragons' goalkeeper has two clean sheets during the two-match unbeaten streak for Drexel. The Dragons are 2-4-2 in CAA play. In wins and draws, Drexel has outscored opponents 5-1. In the four losses, the Dragons have been outscored 13-0.

Towson will have more soccer to play after this match at Tiger Field. If Towson gets the one seed, it will host the CAA Semifinals on Nov. 8. If Towson gets the two seed, it will host the CAA Quarterfinals on Nov. 5.
