Women's Soccer Thrashes Stony Brook, Moves to First in CAA North Division Standings

TOWSON, Md. – Towson University women's soccer secured its second largest Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) win in the Katherine Vettori era with a 4-0 victory over Stony Brook.

This is the first time Towson has won three straight matches since a four match winning streak in 2023 that culminated in the 2023 CAA Championship.

The Tigers currently sit atop the CAA North Division with nine points.

"I'm very proud of the fight and focus we had today. We stuck to our plan and executed on set pieces. The goals scored by Emma, Sophie, Zuri, and Rubio, were very well executed. Emma had a goal and an assist and KP had two assists off of corners. Teagan and our defense came up big with another shutout. We still have a lot of work to do with tough matches ahead of us. 3 Ws in a row is hard to do. Now we focus on UNCW for the next one. Thanks to our fans today. A great showing of support on a rainy day," Towson head coach Katherine Vettori said.

Levin rifled a shot at the Seawolves' goalkeeper which she parried right to the Sophie Thibeault for the second Tiger goal.
