BEL AIR, Md. – The Towson University baseball team faced Canisius on Friday night in Bel Air, Md.
Towson (4-3) took a one-run lead in the bottom of the second before Canisius (1-6) mirrored it in the third. The teams traded one run each in the third and maintained that tie through the sixth inning. Silliman's leadoff homer in the seventh was the difference in the game as the Griffins went on to win, 3-2.

- Towson reliever Aden Knowles (1-1) took the loss, allowing one earned run on four hits in 5.1 innings pitched. Knowles struck out five.
- Canisius pitcher Sam Staerker (1-0) earned the win in relief, tossing 3.0 scoreless frames. Staerker struck out five and walked one.

- With runners on second and third in the bottom of the second, Yariel Rodriguez's infield single to short scored one for the Tigers.
