Brinker followed with a groundout to first base, scoring Gerety from third.
- Brian Heckelman and Keldrin Rodriguez singled in the top of the sixth, putting two runners on. Frank Adamski Jr. followed with a double to left center field, scoring Heckelman. Rodriguez was thrown out at the plate to end the frame.
- Carmelo Musacchia hit a leadoff triple in the bottom half, putting a runner in scoring position with no outs. Eric Cha's sacrifice fly to right center extended the Huskies' lead to two again.
- After going down in order in the seventh and eighth innings, the Tigers stranded a runner in the ninth, giving the Huskies a 3-1 win, and the series victory, with one to play.
