TOWSON, Md. – The Towson University softball team played the second of a three-game series against Drexel on Saturday. The Tiger's bats couldn't get going as Towson fell to the Dragons in a pitcher's duel 2-0.

How it Happened:
- The Dragons got things going quickly in the top of the 1st as the first two Drexel batters put themselves on second and third with no outs. A sacrifice fly brought home the game's first run and a steal attempt with runners on the corners allowed a second Drexel run to score following the throw down to second.
- Grace Franczyk got Towson's first hit of the game to leadoff the bottom of the 2nd, but the Tiger's failed to get a run back in the inning.
- Addison Miller led off the home half of the 3rd with a single and was bunted to second base. But The Tiger's once again were unable to cut into the deficit.
- Amanda Medina pitched her third straight scoreless inning in the top of the 4th to keep the game at 2-0.
- After Medina's fourth scoreless frame in a row in the 5th, Mikaela Guy kept things going by keeping the Dragons off the board in the 6th and 7th.
- The Tiger's last chance was the bottom of the 7th and Franczyk started the inning with a single. The Tiger's got a runner in scoring position but couldn't bring one across home as Towson fell 2-0 to Drexel.
