Women’s Lacrosse Assistant Coach Kristin O’Neill Selected in the 2026 WLL Supplemental Draft

TOWSON, Md. - Assistant Coach Kristin O'Neill has been selected by the Boston Guard in the first-ever Women's Lacrosse League (WLL) Supplemental Draft, announced by the league on Wednesday.

In Fall 2024, the Premier Lacrosse League launched the WLL, a professional league featuring some of the best women's lacrosse players in the world. The WLL is composed of four teams – Boston Guard, California Palms, Maryland Charm and New York Charging – with 13 players on each roster.

O'Neill joined Towson after playing four seasons at Penn State University. The Odenton, Maryland native was a two-time First Team All-Big Ten and first team all-region selection. The midfielder totaled 199 career points for the Nittany Lions, scoring 164 goals to rank sixth all-time in program history. She was named USA Lacrosse Magazine Third Team All-American in 2023.

In high school, O'Neill played at Archbishop Spalding High School. She was a two-time captain who helped lead Archbishop Spalding to a 15-3 record and a No. 15 national ranking as a junior. O'Neill was a three-time Under Armour Underclass All-American and was selected as an US Lacrosse All-American in 2019. The midfielder was a First-Team All-Metro Baltimore Sun and IAAM All-Conference selection. She earned First-Team All-County in 2018 and 2019.
