Towson Women’s Lacrosse Drops Midweek Matchup to No. 23/24 Princeton

PRINCETON, N.J. - The Towson University women's lacrosse team traveled to New Jersey on Wednesday for a midweek matchup against No. 23/24 Princeton. Towson (5-9, 3-2 CAA) fell to Princeton (7-6, 3-2 Ivy League), 9-20.

Luca DeMaio, Katie Roszko and Gabby Bjugan tallied two goals each. Elise Smigiel, Hannah Lewis and Jacinda Connor contributed one apiece.

  • Jenna Cardeno tallied 12 saves, while Princeton added seven.

  • Katie Roszko added her first goal of the night after ripping the ball past two defenders.

  • Princeton opened the third quarter with three goals before Towson recorded back-to-back goals from Luca DeMaio and Hannah Lewis.
