TOWSON, Md. – The Towson University softball team played the final game of its Coastal Athletic Association series against Drexel on Saturday. The Tigers fell 6-1 to the Dragons to lose its final road series of the season 2-1.

- Kaci Benton hit her 10th homerun of the season to put her in the sole lead in the conference in the stat.
- Isabella Canesi hit 2-4 with a pair of singles.
- Mikaela Guy receives the loss after pitching 4.0 innings and allowing eight hits and six runs.

- Courtney Kols earned the win after allowing six hits and one run in a 7.0 inning complete game.
How it Happened:
- It was a repeat of game two as Drexel scored two in the bottom of the 1st to take an early lead.
- Mikaela Guy only allowed one baserunner over the 2nd and 3rd innings.
- With one out in the top of the 3rd, Kaci Benton hit a solo home run to cut the deficit in half.
- Drexel responded in the bottom of the 4th scoring four runs to take a 6-1 lead.
- Chelsey Farthing entered from the bullpen in the bottom of the 5th and did not allow a hit in the 5th or 6th innings.
- Hannah Lebert's one-out single in the top of the 7th couldn't spark a rally as Towson fell 6-1 to Drexel.
