TOWSON, Md. – The Towson University women's tennis team has been honored as a 2025-26 Women's Division I Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) All-Academic Team.
To be an ITA All-Academic Team, all student-athletes on the team must combine for a cumulative 3.2 grade point average (GPA) for the full academic year.
In addition, four Towson student-athletes have been honored as 2026 Division I Women's ITA Scholar-Athletes.
Sofia Anderson,
Chloe Courtnage,
Gaia Montecchi and
Kiersten Tambe are DI Women's ITA Scholar-Athletes for the 2025-26 season.
Three of these athletes, Courtnage, Montecchi and Tambe, were 2026 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District® Team honorees.
To be named an ITA Scholar-Athlete, nominees must have at least a 3.5 GPA for the current academic year. Athletes are nominated by ITA members.

Chloe Courtnage, So. – Major: Psychology
Gaia Montecchi, So. – Major: Biology
Kiersten Tambe, So. – Major: Information Systems
