TOWSON, Md. – The Towson University women's basketball team has released its 2026-27 non-conference schedule, highlighted by the Tigers' first game vs. Maryland at SECU Arena since 2013. Game times for TU home games will be announced at a later date.
 
Towson finished the 2025-26 regular season 16-14, earning the sixth seed in the Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) Championship at CareFirst Arena in Washington, D.C. In the second round, the Tigers faced the tenth-seeded Hofstra Pride, falling on a late three in the final seconds of regulation.
 
The senior duo of Zoli Khalil and Thalia Shepard, plus fifth-year Masyn Marchbanks, return to lead Black & Gold alongside the Fairleigh Dickinson transfer duo of Ava Renninger and Akeelah Lafleur under Head Coach Laura Harper in her fifth season.
 
Towson opens its season in Iowa City on Nov. 2 against Iowa in the program's second-ever matchup against the Hawkeyes.
 
The Tigers welcome Frostburg State for their first home matchup at SECU Arena on Nov. 5 and host former CAA foe Delaware on Nov. 9.
 
Towson plays its first game of the inaugural 410 Invitational at Loyola on Nov. 13, while Morgan State hosts UMBC in the other opening round matchup. The consolation and championship games will be hosted at SECU Arena on Nov. 15.
 
The Black & Gold follow that with two trips to the Keystone State to face Villanova on Nov. 18 and Lehigh on Nov. 20.
 
On Nov. 28, the Tigers host the Maryland Terrapins for the first time since 2013, the opening season at SECU Arena.
 
The Tigers start a three-game road stand against Coppin State on Dec. 3 and face Bethune-Cookman and Stetson in the Sunshine State on Dec. 20 and 21, respectively.
 
Towson closes its non-conference schedule at home against Maryland-Eastern Shore on Dec. 29.
