2024 TOWSON UNIVERSITY CHEER CAMP
Friday July 26th- Sunday July 28th
The Towson University Cheer Camp is created for ages 10 to 18! You can attend as an individual, with a friend, partial members of your team or your entire program (discounts provided for team enrollment). This camp is for ALL skill levels, whether you’re just starting out or you’re prepping to cheer in college. The 2024 Towson Cheer Camp is offering THREE days of custom instruction, ranging from GameDay & Spirit Workshops to Partner Stunt curriculum and everything in between. High school aged cheerleaders will get to experience a complete campus tour, along with a “college prep” discussion with current Towson Cheerleaders.

All registered campers will need to fill out this indemnity letter/waiver.

CAMP PACKAGE TYPES
All-inclusive/Overnight Package:
This package includes a 3-day and 2-night stay on the beautiful campus of Towson University in the Residential Towers. This option includes a 2-night stay in the Residential Dorms, 3 full days of camp instruction, dinner on day 1, 3 meals on Day 2 and breakfast on Day 3.
Commuter Exclusive Package:
The Commuter Exclusive package involves campers being dropped off and picked up each day of camp (times will be listed in the pre-camp informational email). This option includes 3 full days of camp instruction, dinner on day 1, 3 meals on Day 2 and breakfast on Day 3.
Commuter Basic Package:
The Commuter Exclusive package involves campers being dropped off and picked up each day of camp (times will be listed in the pre-camp informational email). This option includes 3 full days of camp instruction and lunch ONLY on Day 2.
Accommodations & Meals
The Towson University Cheer Camp is held at the beautiful campus of Towson University at the newly renovated Fitness Facility, Burdick Hall. This air-conditioned facility is equipped with proper mats and cheer equipment to keep your athlete safe.
Overnight and Commuter Exclusive campers will be provided meals, daily. All campers will also have access to snacks throughout the day and water during camp hours (campers are encouraged to bring a water bottle to refill throughout their stay).

All campers are encouraged to bring cash/credit for vending machines, should additional items need to be purchased. Overnight campers are encouraged to bring snacks for their dorms!
*Packing list and further information on overnight stay will be provided closer to camp.
Checking in and out of Camp
Camp check-in on day 1 begins at 11:00 AM on July 26th, 2024 (location will be sent out 3 weeks before camp) for OVERNIGHT CAMPERS ONLY. Parents/coaches are required to enter with their camper to complete registration, unless the camp is 18 years of age. A completed registration packet includes:
- A completed online registration form (you do NOT need to print this out)
- A completed participant waiver
- Full payment (must be done 3 weeks prior to camp)
- Additional documents as applicable (available in camp informational packet)
For
COMMUTER CAMPERS of any type, drop off and pick up locations will be emailed three weeks prior to camp.
Day 1 for
ALL COMMUTERS will begin at 12:00 PM. A schedule for start times and pick up times will arrive via email three weeks prior to camp.
Late pick up (regardless of reason) will result in assessed fees to cover staff time. If late, you will need to call Head Coach Eugene Younger for pick-up details.
CAMP CURRICULUM
Campers will participate in GameDay/Spirit workshops (dance and cheer), partner stunt & pyramid technique sessions, private coaching of choice, strength and flexibility classes and specialized tumbling instruction. Typically, groups are developed by age and tumbling ability to ensure each camper receives the best possible opportunity to learn appropriate skills at a pace that is comfortable and SAFE for them!

TOP CAMPER AWARDS
Campers can sign up to compete for awards in the following categories: tumbling, jumps, partner stunts, dance, and all-around TOP camper!
Top camper awards will be recognized during the awards ceremony on the final day of camp!
Camp Showcase
All campers will participate in a FULL camp showcase on the final day of camp!

CAMP COST:
The 50% deposit is required to secure the campers spot. Full payments to be made by 7/1. After that, you can cancel with a full refund until 7/10; no refunds after 7/10.
