After two full seasons as the Assistant Director of Basketball Operations, Jasmine Allen was promoted to Acting Director of Basketball Operations to start the 2021-22 season.
In 2015, Allen started working with Towson Athletics as a Football Student Recruiting Assistant where she was assigned to work with the quarterbacks.
The following year, Allen became a manager for the Towson Women's Basketball team. She also worked with the Maryland State Youth Soccer Association as a Programs Administrator Intern, where she managed 100+ affiliate youth clubs. She continued working in soccer with the Jersey Express Soccer Organization in 2017, assisting with game day operations and ticket sales.
Allen also worked with USA Basketball in a multitude of roles. She served as support staff for a variety of USA Basketball team tryouts and camps during the summers of 2018 to 2020 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She helped with U16-U19 Women’s Team Trials, Pan-American Women’s Team Trials, and U18 Men's and Women’s 3x3 Team Camp. Allen also aided with facility set up, score keeping, shot clock operation and statistics during scrimmages. She also coordinated apparel distribution, travel plans and on-court practice demonstrations.
In 2018, she attended the Women's National Team Camp and accompanied the Senior Women’s National Team on road trips for practices and exhibition games in New York and Washington D.C. ahead of the 2018 FIBA World Cup.
Through work with USA Basketball, Allen was given the opportunity to work for the NBA’s 2020 Season Restart Bubble in Orlando, Florida. As a Team Attendant she worked in game day operations for assigned NBA teams. Her pregame tasks included bus unloading, locker room/court set up and sponsorship court signage. In-game responsibilities included rebounding, mopping the court, organizing warmups/apparel, assisting team equipment managers and athletic trainers, and post-game cleanup.
In 2019, Allen was hired as the Assistant Director of Basketball Operations, working under Director of Basketball Operations, Myles Jackson.
Allen is from Montclair, New Jersey. She graduated from Towson in 2018 with a Bachelor of Science in Sport Management and a minor in Business Administration.
