Joe Glowacki

Glowacki joins the Tigers after spending six seasons at the University of Maryland. Terrapins' head coach Brenda Frese hired Glowacki as the Director of Recruiting Operations in spring 2016 before he was elevated to Video Coordinator in the summer of 2019.  

"Joe embodies championship culture," Harper said. "He knows what winning looks like, sounds like and feels like. He is loyal, skillful and driven by success. We both have Brenda Frese as our mentor, and we were taught to operate in excellence." 

In his role as Video Coordinator, Glowacki aided with preparing and distributing coaches' film, organizing clips in addition to filming and archiving all practices and game footage. Glowacki was also in charge of shooting and producing content for social media and discussing game strategy with other members of the coaching staff.  

As the Director of Recruiting Operations, Glowacki's primary responsibilities included assisting with the organizing of all aspects of recruiting including data entry, mailouts, coaches' travel and assisting with official and unofficial campus visits. 

Glowacki was a part of three Big Ten Tournament Championships with the Terps and advanced to five consecutive title games. Maryland eclipsed 26 or more wins each of the six seasons he was with the team.  

Glowacki has been around Maryland program throughout his college career, serving the Terrapins in many capacities as a manager. He graduated from the University of Maryland in May 2016 with his bachelor's degree in English.
