The Towson University women’s basketball team has added a former student manager to its staff as an Assistant Director of Basketball Operations. Myles Jackson joins the team full-time as he graduates from Towson in three months.

As an undergraduate at the university, Jackson was a scout team player and student manager for the team for four years. He assisted with the scouting and film breakdown for game preparations, as well as day-to-day management of team activities assisting the Director of Basketball Operations.

“It is a pleasure to welcome Myles to our staff,” said head coach Diane Richardson. “He has been an integral part of this program as a senior manager and has shown his ‘all in’ commitment. I look forward to his energy and enthusiasm!”

His experience as a scout team player and student manager gave him a foundation relationship with the staff and student-athletes leading into him being hired on full-time. This past summer he also was a camp coach for the men’s basketball head coach Pat Skerry’s Men’s Basketball Camp.
