Kionna Jeter led the Towson University women’s basketball team to a crucial win over the weekend as the Tigers took sole possession for first place in the CAA for the first time in program history. Jeter scored 26 points Friday, leading Towson to its sixth-straight win over Charleston on the road. The Spartanburg, South Carolina native returned to her home state for the first time in Black and Gold and finished with five steals, two rebounds and an assist while shooting at 50 percent. On Sunday the guard paced the Tigers again with 28 points, four rebounds and two assists. She completed her highest field goal percentage of the season with 57.8 percent.
