The Towson University tennis team won four matches last week, with an important conference win over Drexel on Sunday, clinched by Themis Haliou. The freshman from Cyprus went to three sets in singles action against her Dragon opponent and closed out the win, securing victory for her team. In doubles the rookie and partner Phoebe Collins took a win over Drexel 6-2 helping Towson to a 1-0 lead starting the match. Against UNCW, Haliou and Collins took a 6-1 doubles victory on Friday, another CAA game the Tigers went on to win.
