Hios carded a program record two-under 69 to lead Towson in the first round of the Yale University tournament on Friday, Oct. 7. She became the first player in Towson women’s golf history to shoot under 70. Hios birdied four of the final six holes on the back nine to etch her name in the Towson record book.

Hios is the second women’s golfer to pick up TowsonTigers.com Student-Athlete of the Week honors, joining teammate Jenny Buchanan (Sept. 13).
