Michael Adams was dominant in his start against Wagner, allowing just four hits and striking out eight over six innings. He allowed a triple on the first pitch of the game, then followed it up with two popups and a soft lineout to end the inning. He came back and struck out the side in the second and the first hitter of the third. Adams finished the day by throwing 70 of his 93 pitches for strikes.
