Seider had his strongest performance of 2017 on Saturday as No. 17 Towson upended No. 6 Johns Hopkins at Unitas Stadium. Seider, who played limited minutes last week at UMBC, tucked away four goals against the Blue Jays, tying his career high (five times). With his second goal of the game at 14:02 of the second, just nine seconds after a Hopkins goal, Seider buried a 15-yard step down shot for the 100th goal of his career. He is just the seventh player in program history with 100 or more goals and becomes just the 10th player in CAA history to hit the century mark.
Seider wasn't satisfied with 100, however, and finished his day with another two goals, including one with the 30-second clock on. After an 0-15 shooting performance against Loyola, Seider improved his shooting percentage against the Blue Jays, hitting for four goals on just seven shots. More importantly, Seider hit his four goals on five shots on goals. Seider's offensive efforts helped the Tigers knock off Johns Hopkins at home in each of the last two meetings at Johnny Unitas Stadium. He now has six career goals at Johnny Unitas Stadium against the Tigers' Charles Street foes.
