Stover made his first career start against Maryland, which received votes in last week’s FBS polls, and went 21-of-36 for 210 yards with a pair of touchdowns. He connected on scoring strikes to wide receivers Jabari Allen and Rodney Dorsey to become the first Tiger quarterback since Chris Hart in 2010 to throw two touchdowns against an FBS opponent. Stover also led the team with 52 rushing yards.
