Jocelyn Kuilan had a solid week leading the Tigers to a pair of tough CAA road wins at Hofstra and Northeastern. The wins ran the team's current win streak to seven straight matches, moved them into a tie for second in the CAA standings and clinched a CAA Championship spot for the Tigers. She contributed a team-high 26 kills (3.71 per set), hit .352 with 14 digs (2.00 per set) and added four service aces and three blocks in the two matches combined.
On Friday night in the 3-0 win at Hofstra, Kuilan finished with nine kills and a .438 hitting percentage. She also added four digs, a block and two service aces against the Pride.
In Sunday's 3-1 win at Northeastern, Kuilan posted her first double-double of the season with a team-high 17 kills and a .316 hitting percentage. She also added a season-high 10 digs, two service aces and two blocks. Kuilan was especially crucial in the second set against the Huskies, she tallied five kills (four of which came down the stretch as the Tigers rallied from an 18-12 deficit for a 25-21 set win).
Kuilan's play was a key reason the Tigers were able to avenge two of their three losses on the season this weekend.
