Kevin Ross held the league’s third-best offense to just one run on six hits in tossing his second-straight complete game.  He finished the game by striking out a career-best seven.  After allowing a leadoff single, Ross retired the next 10 hitters he faced.  He ran into trouble in the 5^th by putting runners on second and third with one out. He got out of the jam without allowing a run by getting a strikeout and a flyout.  He allowed a run to score on a wild pitch in the sixth, then did not allow a runner past second base over the final three innings.
