TOWSON, Md. - Two members of the Tigers' Colonial Athletic Association-leading running game, Tremayne Dameron and Terrance West, are ranked among the all-time leading rushers in Towson University history.
Dameron, who rushed for 1,339 yards on 355 carries in his three-year career, finished his career as the 13th-leading rusher in school history. He also scored 14 rushing touchdowns for the Tigers, including a team-leading eight TD's as a freshman.
In only his freshman season, West already ranks 14th on the Tigers' career rushing list with 1,294 yards on only 194 attempts. He is averaging 6.7 yards per carry. The second-leading rusher in the Colonial Athletic Association, West scored a school record 29 touchdowns. His 29 touchdowns are the fourth-highest single season total in NCAA FCS history.
Jason Corle, '00 finished his career as the Tigers' all-time rushing leader with 3,601 yards.
Honored as the CAA Offensive Rookie of the Year, West was also named second team All-American by Associated Press.
