TOWSON, Md. - After the Tigers held their first full pads practice of the pre-season, Coach Rob Ambrose admitted that he loved the sound of the practice.
"I don't how good the practice went but it sure sounded great," admitted the Tigers' fourth-year coach. "I think we sound a lot better than we did last year."
After their spirited 150-minute practice came to an end, the Tiger coach addressed his team.
"Tomorrow we have our first two-a-day practice," he said. "There are two ways to look at this. You can treat it as an opportunity or you can consider it an obligation. If you want to be champions, you wiill view it as an opportunity."
The Tiger coach explained, "It's just like 'Life 101,'" he said. "In life, just as in football, every day can be viewed as an opportunity or an obligation."
The Tigers will hold their first practice at 8:30 a.m. The afternoon practice is set for 3:30 p.m.
