FINAL RESULTSREHOBOTH BEACH, Del. -- The Towson women's golf team closed its fall season with a fourth-place finish at the University of Delaware Invitational this weekend.
The Tigers carded a 956 in the 54-hole event that was held at the Rehoboth Beach Country Club. After an opening round 326, Towson bounced back with a 311 during the second round. The Tigers concluded the weekend by carding a 319 on Sunday.
Georgetown won the 10-team event with a 922 (311-299-312). Amanda Chin of Penn defeated Amanda Terzian of Delaware in the first hole of a sudden death playoff to earn medalist honors.

Krissy Unger closed her strong fall season by claiming third-place in the event with a 229 (80-76-73). Sophomore
Alexis Hios finished tied for 17th with a 241 (82-81-78) and junior
Larissa Spiess ended the weekend tied for 19th by shooting a 242 (83-78-81).
After an extremely successful fall slate, the Tigers will break for the winter before resuming their season in March.
