Tigers Host Drexel For Senior Day, Wrap Up Season At Georgetown

Updating The Tigers
The Tigers wrap up their regular season schedule this weekend with a pair of games. Towson will host Drexel in its final home game and 'Senior Day' on Friday at 6 p.m. before traveling to Georgetown on Sunday.

Scouting The Tigers
Heather Jenney scored a pair of goals against Hofstra. Megan Boyle and Emilee Woodall combined for 16 saves last weekend.
 
Scouting Drexel
Drexel enters Friday with an 8-8 record. The Dragons fell in their last outing against William & Mary 2-0.
Rachel Sumfest leads the Dragons in points with 23 (8 G, 7 A). Jantien Gunter has a .772 save percentage and has allowed 23 goals in 16 games for Drexel.

Scouting Georgetown
Georgetown is 5-10 on the season. The Hoyas  host #16 Old Dominion on Friday before hosting the Tigers on Sunday.
Aliyah Graves-Brown is the Hoya's leading point scorer with 14 (5 G, 3 A). Rachel Skonecki has a .648 save percentage and has allowed 44 goals in 14 games for Georgetown.

Series History
The Tigers have faced Drexel 32 times. The Dragons hold an 20-8-4 advantage on the series.
Towson and Georgetown have met 32 times. The Tigers have an 18-11-3 series lead. Towson beat the Hoyas last season 3-2.

Leading The Tigers
Junior Heather Jenney is the leading point scorer for the Tigers with 10 (5 G, 0 A). Her five goals is a team-high. Junior Stacey Mackintosh is the assist leader for the Tigers with three. Senior Kelly Mattingly leads the Tigers in shots (20).

Balancing Act
The Tigers have enjoyed a balanced scoring output this season with ten different players recording a point.

Defensive Dynamos
The Tigers have  seen defensive saves made by four players. Jenney leads the Tigers and is tied for second in the CAA with four. Mackintosh is tied for third among CAA players with three. Mattingly (1) and sophomore Morgan Skavdahl (1) have also recorded defensive saves this season.

Saves, Saves, Saves
Freshman Emilee Woodall is tied with Drexel's Jantien Gunter for the lead among CAA goalkeepers in saves with (78). Sophomore Megan Boyle ranks first among CAA goalkeepers for saves per game (6.00) and third for save percentage (.680).

Senior Salute
Friday evening is the final home game for our seniors; Courtney Branco, Kelsey Fielder and Kelly Mattingly. The trio of seniors will be honored prior to the game. These Tiger seniors are impressive student-athletes who have all been named to the SGI/NFHCA National Academic Squad during their careers. They have been successful on the field as well, starting 132 of 195 games played and combining for 47 points and 19 goals in their four years.
