Aimee Schubert had 27 assists and eight digs while
MacKenzie Kleespies collected 15 digs for the Dukes.
We're Headed Back: The pair of wins last week helped the Tigers guarantee themselves a spot in the CAA Tournament which will be held Nov. 21-23 at the site of the highest seed. After a one year absence, the Tigers will be making their ninth appearance in the CAA Tournament.
Racking Up the Kills: Senior
Saitaua Iosia had 52 kills in three matches last week and now has 379 for the season. Iosia ranks 12th in single-season kills history at Towson. The school record for kills in a single-season is 538 by
Valerie Davis during the 1990 season.
Big on the Block: Sophomore
Lindsay Flaherty has been a big part of the Tigers success at the net in the last two years. On Sunday against College of Charleston Flaherty recorded three blocks which gave her 92 for the season and 200 for her career. She is the 19th player in school history to record at least 200 blocks in a career. Flaherty is the first Tiger to go over 200 blocks in her career since
Susan Gansor who had 322 blocks between 2008 and 2011.
Up Next: Towson returns to SECU Arena on Friday, Nov. 14 to host UNC Wilmington. The Tigers will welcome back their alumni that evening. The following night, the Tigers close out the regular season by hosting Elon and will honor their seniors before that match.
