TOWSON, Md. – The Towson University women's swimming and diving program hopes to extend their undefeated streak to seven when they host George Washington on Saturday, Nov. 8. The dual meet, held at Burdick Pool, is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m.

The Tigers are currently ranked 38th in the nation in CollegeSwimming.com's Division I Team Power Rankings.

"Our meet against GW will be another great opportunity to compete at home," Head Coach Pat Mead said. "I anticipate some great swimming and diving. I hope the Towson community will come and support both our teams in our last home meet of the fall."

Towson improved to 6-0, 3-0 Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) after a quad meet at George Mason last weekend. The Tigers swept College of Charleston (score of 251-95), Northeastern (230-118) and George Mason (222-126).

Sophomore Macey Arnold, who was named CAA Women's Swimmer of the Week, led the Tigers with four wins. She was victorious in the 1650-yard freestyle (17:05.34), the 200-yard freestyle (1:50.45), the 500-yard freestyle (4:54.72) and the 400-yard freestyle relay (3:29.64).

Four other Tigers earned multiple wins during the two-day meet; senior Victoria Oslund, senior Amanda Barber, junior Charlotte Holz and junior Jenna Van Camp.

Oslund had an impressive performance as she earned victories in four events. She placed first in the 100-yard (55.96) and 200-yard (2:02.36) butterfly. Her two other wins came as part of relays; the 200-yard (1:44.80) and 400-yard (3:46.84) medleys.

Barber swam on the Tigers' three winning relays; the 400-yard freestyle, the 200-yard and 400-yard medley relays.

Holz was a member of the 400-yard freestyle relay and the 400-yard medley relay which both earned first-place finishes. She also earned a victory in the 200-yard individual medley (2:02.88).

Van Camp shined as part of the 200-yard and 400-yard medley relays, as well as the 200-yard breaststroke where she took first-place with a time of 2:17.84.

On the diving boards, Towson continued their success as junior Natalee Szopo finished first in the three-meter event (272.78) and second in the one-meter event (270.90). Junior Molly Arceri earned the first-place finish in the one-meter event, edging Szopo by 3.98 points (273.98).
