BALTIMORE, Md. - Senior co-captain John Fennessy participated in the 2014 DI/II USILA North-South All-Star game on Monday at M&T Bank Stadium prior to the Division I men's lacrosse national title game.

He played close defense for the South team, which was coached by Brad Jorgenson, the head coach at Saint Leo University. Fennessy competed alongside former Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) opponents Matt Dusek (Drexel), Shane Sturgis (PSU), Dan Keane (Delaware), and Tom LaCrosse (PSU).

This annual tradition started in 1940 and has been played every year with the exception of 1944 and 1945. The Division III all-star game occurred on Sunday, May 25 before the national title games for Division II and III teams. These games brought together 128 of the finest senior lacrosse players in the country.
