TOWSON, Md. – Five Towson University men's lacrosse players have been selected to the 2025 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District® At-Large Team, announced by the organization on Tuesday.
Sam Morin, Joe Petro, Ryan Schrier, Conor Spagnolli and
Alex Vieni are all CSC Academic All-District® At-Large Team members for 2025.
Morin is a three-time CSC Academic All-District® honoree while Petro and Spagnolli are honorees for the second time. Schrier and Vieni land on the team for the first time.
To be eligible, nominees must have a 3.5 or higher cumulative grade point average (GPA) of sophomore or higher academic standing. The student-athlete also must have started 50% of games or played in 90% of contests.
The CSC At-Large Program encompasses several different sports across the NCAA. On the men's side, it includes fencing, golf, gymnastics, ice hockey, lacrosse, rifle, skiing, volleyball, water polo and wrestling. Schools are allowed to submit up to six student-athletes per gender to the at-large program. CSC members will vote on the ballot for Academic All-America® in the coming week.
