Updating the Tigers
Towson will be looking for its first win of the season when the Tigers play American at College Park, Md. on Saturday at 11 a.m. The Tigers will then travel to Lehigh on Sunday, Sept. 14 for a noon game. 

Scouting the Tigers
Sophomore Morgan Skavdahl scored her first career goal in the loss to St. Francis. Skavdahl and freshman Tessa Jarvis now lead the Tigers in goals (1). 

Junior Stacey Mackintosh picked up her second assist of the year on Skavdahl's goal. She leads the Tigers in assists. Mackintosh also recorded a defensive save against Lock Haven. 

Scouting American
No. 18 American enters Saturday with a 3-1 record. Most recently, the team earned a 1-0 win in 2OT against No. 16 Michigan State. Senior Grace Wilson leads the Eagles in points with five (2 G, 1 A). Junior Kate McBeath has a .800 save percentage and has only allowed four goals in four games for the Eagles. 

Scouting Lehigh
Lehigh (0-4) will play Cornell at home on Friday before hosting the Tigers for Sunday's matchup. Last time out, the team fell to Monmouth 3-1. Junior Lindsey Schott has seven points (3G, 1 A) so far this season. Sophomore Julia Ward has a .722 save percentage and has allowed 15 goals in four games for the Mountain Hawks. 

Series History
The Tigers have faced American 35  times. The Eagles hold a 28-4-3 advantage in the series. The two teams met last season when the Eagles defeated the Tigers 4-0.  Towson last defeated American in 1996, 4-1. 

The Tigers have faced Lehigh 13 times. The Mountain Hawks hold a 12-0-1 advantage in the series. When the two squads met last year the Mountain Hawks claimed a 1-0 victory. 

Home Away from Home
The Tigers will play their first of two games this season at the Maryland Field Hockey Complex in College Park, Md. on Saturday. The matchup is a neutral site game. Last season, the Tigers earned a 3-2 victory over Georgetown at the venue.
