TOWSON, Md. - Looking for their first home win of the 2014 season, Towson women's soccer (1-3-1) hosts Radford (0-2-1) on Tuesday, Sept. 9 at 4 p.m. at the Tiger Soccer Complex.
The Highlanders come into Tuesday's game off a 1-1 double-overtime draw at Howard on Sunday, Sept. 7. Radford has struggled to start the season, falling 3-2 at Eastern Tennessee State and 1-0 at Villanova before the weekend draw with the Bison.

Katie McCormick has played every minute in goal for Radford and has allowed five goals for a 1.55 goals-against average (GAA). She has made 21 saves and has an .808 save percentage.

The Tigers have never beaten the Highlanders, who own a 5-0-1 record in the series. The two teams' last meeting was on August 30, 2013 when Radford claimed a 2-1 decision at home. The only draw in the series occurred on Sept. 7, 2001 when the teams drew 2-2 in double overtime in Radford, Va.
Towson next plays in the Battle of Baltimore Tournament on Sept. 12 and Sept. 14. The first two games, including the Tigers' tilt against Loyola (Md.) at 7:30 p.m., will play out at Loyola on Friday before moving to Towson on Sunday. The four teams participating in the tournament are Towson, Loyola, UMBC and Mount St. Mary's.
