Story Lines
Towson closes out its North Carolina trip with an 8 p.m. tipoff at UNC Wilmington Jan. 24.  The game can be seen live on the American Sports Network.

The two teams are meeting for the 31st time.  UNCW holds a 17-13 advantage in the series.  The two teams split the two meetings last season, with each team winning on their home floor.

Freshman Mike Morsell knocked down the game-winning jumper with 1.7 remaining to give the Tigers the victory over Elon.  Morsell scored all eight of his points in the second half.

Towson pulled down 23 offensive rebounds against Elon.  It marked the third time this season the Tigers have pulled down at least 20 offensive rebounds.  They pulled down 22 against Goucher and 24 at Temple.

John Davis recorded his third-straight double-double with 16 points and 10 rebounds.  Timajh Parker-Rivera also recorded a double-double with 14 points and 11 rebounds.

Towson struggled at the foul line in the victory over Elon.  The Tigers shot just 10-of-25 (.400) for the game and 7-of-16 (.438) in the second half.

Since the start of the 2012-13 season, Towson has the second most Colonial Athletic Association victories.  The Tigers are 27-13 over that span.

2015 Charleston Classic
Towson has been selected to participate in the 2015 Gildan Charleston Classic on Nov. 19-22, 2015.  Other teams in the tournament include Bradley, George Mason, Long Beach State, Mississippi, Oklahoma State, Seton Hall and Virginia.

vs. UNC Wilmington
The Tigers and Seahawks are meeting for the 31st time.  The two teams split the season series last year, with both teams winning on their home floor.  Towson had won the previous three meetings before last year.

Be Bold, Wear Gold
For the third time this season, Towson will wear gold uniforms against UNC Wilmington.  The Tigers wore the gold uniforms at Georgetown and at home against Northeastern.

Morsell Knocks Down Game Winner
Freshman Mike Morsell hit the biggest shot of his career when he knocked down a 15-foot jumper with 1.7 seconds left to give the Tigers the 53-51 victory over Elon.  He finished the game with eight points, all coming in the second half.

Clutch Free Throws
Walter Foster knocked down a pair of free throws with the Tigers trailing by two points with 51 seconds remaining at Elon.  Foster had missed his previous two free throws in the game.

Elon Sweep
The victory over Elon gave Towson the season sweep over the Phoenix.  The Tigers are now 2-0 all time against Elon.

Pair of Double-Doubles
Towson had two players record double-doubles in the victory over Goucher and at Elon.  John Davis had 11 points and 15 rebounds, while Timajh Parker-Rivera had 13 points and 10 rebounds against Goucher.  Against Elon, Davis had 16 points and 10 rebounds, while Parker-Rivera had 14 points and 11 rebounds  Last season, Jerrelle Benimon and Marcus Damas recorded double-doubles in the same game twice.

Cleaning the Glass
Towson controlled the backboard on both ends of the floor as the Tigers outrebounded Elon 50-35.  The number was even more impressive on the offensive end as Towson pulled down 23 offensive rebounds.  It marked the third time this season the Tigers have pulled down at least 20 offensive rebounds in a game.

Big Men Lead Way
The big men led the way for the Tigers against Elon as Walter Foster, Timajh Parker-Rivera, John Davis and Jamel Flash combined for 38 of the 53 points against Elon.  Foster, Parker-Rivera and Davis combined for the first 17 Tiger points.
