WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – The Towson women's swimming and diving team fell to Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) foe William & Mary in dual meet action 152-110 on Friday. The Tigers won five events and had 18 top-three event finishes.

HOW IT HAPPENED - Junior Macey Arnold had an impressive day, winning both the 200-yard (1:51.71), 500-yard (5:01.61) and 1000-yard freestyles (10:14.45).
- Senior Jenna Van Camp won the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:05.01. She was followed by freshman Sara Lacusky (1:07.12) who placed third.
- Van Camp also earned a first-place finish in the 200-yard breaststroke, timing 2:20.76.
- Senior Charlotte Holz won the 200-yard individual medley in 2:07.12. Senior Christine Hammond placed third (2:09.89).
- In the 200-yard freestyle, senior Hannah Snyder finished in second-place (10:16.26). She also took second in the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 5:05.81).
- Holz was the runner-up in the 1000-yard freestyle with a time of 1:53.11. She also finished second in the 100-yard freestyle (52.25).
- Hammond placed third in the 200-yard butterfly (2:07.09).
- In the 50-yard freestyle, sophomore Jacy Icard timed 24.41 for a third-place finish.
- The Tigers swept third through fifth-place in the 100-yard backstroke. Freshman Natalie Obando placed third ( 58.90), followed by sophomore Kendall Krumenacker (59.54) and freshman Kara Powell (1:00.26).
- Obando finished second in the 200-yard backstroke with a time of 2:04.36).
- The 200-yard medley relay finished in third-place as Obando, Van Camp, freshman Tara Goss and Icard combined for a time of 1:47.17.
- The 400-yard freestyle relay of Arnold, Icard, Holz and freshman Ryan Ulrich finished second overall with time of 3:32.31.
Towson continues its dual meet season at Georgetown on Oct. 17 for a 1 p.m. meet.
